Hi! My name’s Rebecca and I’m a second year historian, and your female representative for welfare for this year. You might have see me wandering around college in my (quite noticeable) floral trousers, attending femsoc discussions or fundraising for CHOP.

I work closely with Joe, the male representative for welfare, and the rest of the welfare team. Our job is to support members of the college with any difficulties you may be having, be those academic or personal, either by providing a confidential listening ear or by pointing you in the right direction to others who can help you. We also are here just to have a friendly chat if you ever need or provide you with free sexual health supplies when you need them – I’ve always got pregnancy tests in my pidge, and Joe has got condoms, but email us if you ever need anything. We’ll have lots of welfare events throughout the year, especially fortnightly welfare cake in the new JCR, so keep an eye out for exciting things going on!

Myself and Joe are really easily contactable and are very keen that you get in touch whenever you need us, Come to one of our drop ins (mine are every other Thursday at 7pm), email me at jcsu-womenswelfare@jesus.cam.ac.uk, drop me a Facebook message or ask to speak to me if you see me in college or a welfare event. Remember, anyone can come to me or joe for welfare, regardless of gender – boys please chat to me if you’d rather, and girls please feel free to talk to Joe.
