Holly Hamilton – Women’s Welfare
Hey! I’m Holly and I’m your Female Welfare and Academic Affairs Officer for 2017. I’m a second year English student who you may recognise from my incessant promotion of arty over Facebook or from my permanent residency in waff. My role is work closely with the Male Welfare Officer (Cormac) to ensure the continued happiness of Jesus’ student body. We are present indirectly, ready to cheer you up with our fortnightly welfare cake and events, and exam term fun (think lollies, bouncy castle and puppies). We are also here to listen on an individual basis – whether it’s about something personal or academic. For this, we provide weekly drop-in sessions (mine is from 6:30 – 7:30pm on a Thursday, in L4) and I am on the other side of the welfare phone (6- 8pm, every other Monday). We can also provide you with information about other services and help available, both within college and around Cambridge in general. One of our other jobs is the provision of free sexual health supplies. I have pregnancy tests in my pidge, we both have condoms and lube and other sexual health supplies can be provided on request. Just give me a message Both Cormac and I are always ready to have a friendly chat or to give advice, so feel free to contact me over email (email@example.com) or on Facebook!
