A2 Physics Coursework
For my A2 Salters Horners physics coursework, I investigated the effects of eddy current braking systems.
Engineering Education Scheme
In 2003-04, I worked alongside four other students from King Alfred's Community & Sports College in collaboration with an engineer from CCLRC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory on an engineering project to design and build a system to detect a dagnerous level of helium in the atmosphere of a cryogenic laboratory and to warn those in the room.
Nuffield Science Bursary
In 2004 I worked on a Nuffield Science Bursary project at CCLRC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, implementing a system to collect lightning strike data for use in ionospheric studies.
