PhotoGroup

Introduction

PhotoGroup is a GNOME program for organising (and displaying) collections of images.

Features

• Drag images in from your favourite file manager (or use PhotoGroup to open a view of a directory)
• Re-order images, set their orientations, give them captions
• Drag images out to image viewers/editors
• Use the in-built full-screen viewing mode to display your images

• Image collection files backwards-compatible with GQView

To build the program, download, 'tar zxvf photogroup-0.0.2.tar.gz', 'cd photogroup-0.0.2', './configure', 'make', 'make install'.

Note that some window managers may not support the _NET_WM_STATE_FULLSCREEN standard used by PhotoGroup's slideshow mode.
