The Single Pixel Webcam



Well, here it is, the technological revolution of the new Millennium - possibly the World's only, probably the World's worst Single Pixel Webcam!

With a lot of technical effort from Graham Bell (gsb29), and a total of at least four computers, you can now look at the light level in my room. At any time of the day. Which is clearly incredibly exciting.

Anyway, without any further ado (mostly because I can't think of any), here it is...

So, now you know. I have now got round to typing up some of the technical details, which are available here. There is also an archive of the graphs and reading values. This seems to be a tad broken - I don't entirely know why... I suspect that the whole thing is a mass of race conditions, anyway...
