2. Instructions on use

The white box in the middle is the ‘global’ chat. This is a chat that anyone can see. Therefore, do NOT put your message in this.

Click the people icon in the top right to show a list of welfare officers that you can chat to anonymously. Click on the one you want to chat with.

To open past conversations, click on the speak bubble icon in the top right.

Along the bottom is the message box, where you compose messages.

The circle by the welfare officer’s name will be green if they are online or red if offline. You can still send messages if they are offline – the officer will receive an email notifying them of a message and will reply ASAP.

Messages are completely anonymous. You can continue chatting with the welfare officer just by keeping the webpage open.

The grey box on the right is the user list panel. From this, you can choose which welfare officer you would like to speak to anonymously. To do this, simply click on the officer’s name and a private chat will be opened.
